Our latest election administration resource, The Post-Vote Tracker, is now live!
The Tracker is where we’ll be tracking the status of post-vote process steps as they happen in key states, from tabulation of votes to canvasses, certification, audits, contests, and recounts.
We hope the Tracker can be a source of ground truth through the noisy post-vote period — noting where things are progressing as expected, or where there is deviation from the expected norm or timeline.
The Tracker provides a top-level overview of the counting and certification progress in each state. You can also dive deeper into each state to see the latest updates — or any concerns — as they take place. Just click on the state name in the left-hand column and hit “open” to get to a detailed state page.
So yes, you’re going to want to bookmark this page.
We’ll aim to update the tracker at least twice a day — midmorning to reflect activity from the night prior, and again after the close of business in each state to reflect activities from the day. Plus making critical updates as they happen. While we’re watching processes closely, our visibility into status changes will likely be somewhat delayed depending on our access to local information. We'll do our best to ensure the information is as current as possible.
Updates in the Tracker start as soon as states begin counting early and mail-in ballots. We’ll be back in your inbox tomorrow and over the next week to share the most critical updates you need to know about — and what to expect in the vote counting and certification processes each day.
We’re here to help — don’t hesitate to reach out with questions.
